  I can't believe Susan Baker could do this interview and express anything other than shame and regret about her past behaviour. But she maintains her previous insane position. As if your personal shock lets you muzzle other people. Jesus what a person she is.

  Mommy? What's a virgin? I just learned the word "virgin" in my Sunday school class!!! The pastor told me that god's mommy was a virgin!!!

  OMG this is hilarious.  Those 'Parental Advisory' stickers just make albums all the more desirable to kids.  Helicopter parenting in action.

  Question:  How would Baker have reacted if her daughter was asking what a virgin is because she heard of the Virgin Mary or the Virgin Queen (Elizabeth I) as opposed to a Madonna song?

  "the kids don't get to call the shots." Only Susan Baker does. Overall I agree with Zappa.  If your child asks you a question be a good parent and answer that question in a honest and educational manner. Don't let it anger you. Either educate a child or block them from culture.  By blocking them leaving them to come up with uneducated opinions about said culture.

  The last comment really contrasts the two uses of warnings. When you want to control what others are exposed to, it's acceptable. When you want something labeled in a way useful to you, so that you can choose what to engage with based on your knowledge of your own mental health, naw that's just absurd and you shouldn't get to "call the shots."

  Adults shouldn't have to explain their likes and dislikes to the government. If a parent is offended, that's their problem. The world doesn't have to coddle their children in any way.
