  Fun fact:<br>The Greek name for Hercules is actually Heracles (or Herakles). Heracles loosely translates to &quot;Glory of Hera&quot; in an attempt to please her.

  greek mythology is so funny to me because there are so many gods all with different personalities and stuff, and the only reason 98% of them exists is because gods believe themselves to be above being loyal to one individual

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dQAxOYG1yc&amp;t=218">3:38</a> That&apos;s because modern astronomy names aren&apos;t made for humans, they&apos;re made for databases. &nbsp;I mean, there are literally <i>billions</i> of stars. &nbsp;No one can remember that many names anyway, so you might as well just slap a serial number on it and call it a day. &nbsp;Though that&apos;s oversimplifying it, I&apos;m sure. &nbsp;The name almost definitely conveys information about the celestial body for those educated about it.
