  Trinidadian here my grandmother told me when she was a lil grl she n her grandmother was goin to wash by the river, n they saw what she only knew later was a mermaid sitting on a big rock. When they got closer it dived without making a splash.

  It’s weird to me nobody in Hawaii has everrr has a mermaid spotting yet it’s supposedly my family’s Amakua (Guardian) and my great grandma would take a comb and dead fish to the same spot her grandparents would once a year and they would come back to get the comb that had blond hair in it.

  As a Zimbabwean myself..I have a family member who was kidnapped by a mermaid whilst at a young age,but the good thing is he came back well. However not everything was back to normal. I am not allowed to share the full story about how and what happened after because it's said that it can effect him badly😐😐👍

  Yah mermaid stories from the carribean and south America and Africa people will dissapear but then come back YEARS later and they say they were abducted or taken by mermaid people

  Beware of all the love story ones. They are putting love spells on them to get them to leave with them (leave everyone behind). Like the Fae which will suck your life out of you as they make you a lover , they will “love you” to literal death. You are an object to them. You are LUCKY if they leave you!!!!
