  After 12 years of cruising with P&amp;O (sometimes twice per year) we will never travel with them again. The cuts in service and attitude to customers has been noticeable.

  Completely agree with what you say with how companies deal with their mistakes.. that can be the dealbreaker of passengers returning or not. <br>Still so shocking that there has been no accountability taken on this! <br>Well done for not giving up and keep talking about this 👏🏻

  Fantastic first episode. It was interesting to hear Jamies experience. It’s such a shame that P&amp;O handled it the way they did. Hopefully going forward they’ll have learned from this experience

  My 2 cents of how things could go so badly : Christmas vacations. Likely the plane was delayed because the airline had unsufficient staff on duty to face an unscheduled repair. Or simply the supplier that could provide this spare part was closed, or the regular courrier service to ship it to airline workshop was off. Same explanation regarding P&amp;O immediate response : booking hotel rooms or sourcing an other plane first requires to have some high ranking head office executive approving the expense. If they are all in vacation, the remaining staff on duty will never take any initiative as they will fear to be held personnaly responsible. Then it implies having sufficient staff to locate and book the rooms, either locally through their agents, or at the head office. If only skeleton teams are on duty, that could prove physically impossible in the required timeframe... In my job, I have seen so many disasters happening during vacations time simply because either nobody was there to fix it before it degenerates, or because the people on duty were either too junior to understand the situation or too scared to take any initiative.

  As long as The Cunard Line officers are not in polo shirts, I think we have not yet titrated down to American Casual And Way, Way Beyond as to officers&apos; uniforms.

  I&apos;m shocked by this whole situation of which I previously knew nothing. Until watching Jamie&apos;s vlogs. My family and I have booked a 2 week cruise to the med with P&amp;o September 2026. After hearing all that went on and the horrendous treatment of passengers I now am worried and concerned about the total lack of care and respect shown to P&amp;o customers 😢.
