  I actually witnessed this at the occupational therapy office I worked at a few years ago. We had a chiropractor utilizing our office temporarily,  and one of his patients came in, a "yoga mom," very flirtatious and dressed in spandex. My manager/occupational therapist  was with another patient, but could hear this woman's speech and demeanor. The therapist excuses herself, pops into my office and asks me to pray and rebuke any unclean spirits, as she needed to focus on her patient and was just getting "off-putting feelings" beyond normal disapproval. I sat at my desk and prayed. Hard! Within a few minutes, the woman abruptly sat up from the treatment table, said she didn't feel well and needed to leave. After she left, the chiropractor came back to my office to tell me, "The weirdest thing just happened," and how this was a regular patient of his and she had never left mid-session before. He was puzzled. I was rather shocked. And my manager leaned into my office and said, "Thank you! I KNEW something was up!" Yes, my manager was a very devout Bible scholar.

  I know the demonic realm is real, but Jesus Christ has delivered my family and me from a lot of evil!  I have prayed for years for Jesus to deliver us, and He has!  He is so faithful and hears our prayers!

  Pray silently (for the person you believe might be oppressed). Watch for a reaction. This reminds me of one time I got on the mini-bus in Downtown L.A., and at the next stop, a homeless man got on and sat in the row immediately behind me. He was talking to himself, which isn't that unusual, but there was something about him that gave me a very bad feeling.  Then I thought, "Well, let me pray," and I mentally said the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. All of a sudden, the man said, very clearly, "I'm leaving! The devil is telling me to leave!" and he stood up and walked right off at the next stop. I was flabbergasted, grateful, and amazed, all at the same time.

  I've seen this too. I was in a store in San Francisco and outside on the street, probably twenty feet away, was a strange guy...who clearly had something going on. Enough that it caught my attention. I simply prayed under my breath, "Oh, Jesus..." And his eyes wildly shot to mine and he screamed and ran away.

  I believe that mental illness could be a form of demon possession. Especially in those who may be hateful in their state of mental illness.

  This does not rise to the same level of what you are talking about...however...I am a retired public high school teacher. I had a male student for two years in a row. He failed French the first year, so I had him again. Once he came to class early and was reading a book. I walked by him quickly and saw that book was about ritualist satanic abuse. I discreetly blanched and said nothing. From then on before anyone came into the room, I would sprinkle his desk with holy water and say the Saint Michael prayer. His behavior in his other classes was so awful that a meeting of all his teachers had to be called. During the meeting his mother went after his teachers and said, "well, the reason he misbehaves in your classes is you set him off. Mr. Donovan seems to have no issues with him, and he behaves in his room!" Now to be honest I had him first period when most students are half asleep, particularly the professional disrupters and his behavior was passable.  However, ... I smiled at his mother and said "well perhaps my personality does not set him off. Students do react differently depending upon the teacher and the time of day." Of course, this is true...but ...I knew the real reason.  Because it was a public school I had to keep quiet. Discretion is sometimes the better part of valor.

  In our Church group there were weird things going on surrounding one person  A bunch of us would go to a family restaurant after church and once I happened to be sitting across from this person.  This person was talking to someone to their left with perfect pronunciation and diction and I decided to pray three Hail Marys for the intention of breaking whatever demonic hold or influence might be over this person.  I was about half finished my prayers when their voice began quivering and sounding panicked;  they then shot me a hostile look which said:  "I know YOU'RE the one doing this."
