  Technically in the UK cannabis was made legal in 2018 with an amendment to the act from 1971, allowing it for medical purposes so long as you have a prescription from a doctor. <br>Obviously, growing it yourself is still illegal

  Technically, the laundering isn&apos;t laundering because the case was obtained through legitimate means (gambling/metal trading) laundering irl has nothing to do with skirting taxes, it actually gets you taxed so they can&apos;t get you on that like Al Capone. It&apos;s to distance the money from the illicit acts it was obtained with. Provided be declares the money come tax time and pays any accrued taxes he owes come April tax times or quarterly taxes for business, it isn&apos;t a crime. The 10k limit in the game comes from the fact that in the USA, deposits in or around that amount are required to be reported to the IRS and many banks will report it to local LE as well, bad thing if you&apos;re selling drugs, but wouldn&apos;t be a problem for someone gambling and trading precious metals. <br>Tldr, the &quot;laundering&quot; isn&apos;t automatically a crime because the money, while aquired though unusual means: is clean and should get taxed.
