Some of my fondest memories are sharing a stage with this man and EWF when I was still with The Average White Band. I'll never forget Verdine's bass solo and all of a sudden he's floating sideways while playing! What a career and insanely talented he is and the songs they gave us!

Yo, Billy, fantastic interview with the great Verdine white, I had no idea that you were into music like that especially R&B, but you definitely a great interviewer and I love the story about your father who was a musician also appreciate Black music, it’s a blessing hearing from Verdine why he grew up in the business 18 and never got caught up into the Hollywood drug scene. That’s a blessing and he’s still doing this thing. I’ve seen them many times in my lifetime they fall on a great show earth, wind and fire is music for the soul reaches everyone that came out at the right time and they were able to do their own thing. That is definitely a great accomplishment to have number one hits for decades, music always changes, but they have stay relevant. The band is still eating off their old albums, the classics it touches black white Hispanic everyone in the music is universal. Thank you for this great interview with a living legend God bless you, ❤️‍🔥☺️
