Listening to Tarja singing with Nightwish got me out of a period of depression some 20 years ago. I rest my case...............................
It's really sad about what happened between her and the rest of the band but all too frequent in the music industry. The best that can be hoped for is that separations can take place with good grace and not forgetting all the past good times together. The way her voice soars now has the same effect on me whatever style she sings in. Forever grateful, Tarja.

Tarja will never be bad to me. I honestly think she is better solo and much happier.

Something doesn’t add up. She had told them she was going to quit, then a year later they wrote a letter explaining how they felt about how she had changed. I love Knightwish, and I am not taking sides, both could have managed this split better. It just seems strange that you tell your band mates you are leaving the band then over a year later get upset when they tell you it's time to leave. It's too bad this happened but it is also a testament to their talents that she and Nightwish continued to be successful.

Hey so I actually know people that worked for the band back in the 2000s and I believe it was 2 things that happened 1 Tarja really did get in her head at the time because she was getting so much recognition from everyone and her husband lawyers and stuff you see this happened every single time when a band member get there own managers that is just representing there artist and not the hole band it always end up in beef and struggle because instead of band members just talking it out then instead it has to go through a manger instead of friendly bonds and talking it out it happened to Sepultura Black Sabbath and many other bands her manger (husband) was a asshole to the other band members at the time and 2 Thomas had a huge crush on Tarja sense the beginning of the band and seeing the manger (husband) just manipulating her like that definitely took it tole on Thomas himself even after she left the band he was very depressed and got very strict about the band afterwards look at Marko and everything he said after he left he said that overtime it got really hard working for Thomas the guy is a complicated man so I really don’t know if they will ever reconcile it really depends if Thomas can say sorry and chill out and stop being a asshole witch I don’t know if it possible so we are going to have to wait and see

Very clickbaity title, she never "fell" in the sense the term is usually used for music acts.

 Two questions for Tarja fans:

1. What does Tarja Turunen mean to you, and what makes her so special compared to other singers?
2. Do you think Nightwish would have become as successful without Tarja? Why or why not?
