I love how he always creates this intensely awkward suspense that’s makes the whole show feel more magical

I’m like 98% sure David Blane had discovered real magic, told no one, and became a magician for a career — HES A WIZARD.

I loved that Ellen asked if he was ok. He has put his body through a lot over the years.

David Blaine, one of the greatest, if not the greatest, magician of his era. Incredibly talented and incredibly humble.

Someone once made a video of how he did a card trick. It was so complicated and even though I knew how it was done, I STILL couldn't figure it out. He's AMAZING.

The ring in the mouth trick - he never puts the ring in his mouth. He just switches what finger he’s sticking out when he covers his hand to “take the ring off”. He’s showing his middle finger now when the “ring is in his mouth”. And when he spits the ring back on - all he’s doing is now showing his pointer finger with the ring still on

The ring is already on the coathanger hiding behind  Davids hand before he puts it down his throat. Notice how he holds the hanger in to his throat and, his tongue is between the hanger ensuring he pulls the ring to the bottom for the big reveal. Figured he put it there after he bit the glass and the camera was not on him for several seconds. Great act.

David Blaine has that Christopher Walken-like weirdness, but he genuinely seems like a nice guy.
