I prefer homemade gifts to store bought gifts any day of the year. They mean so much more, because of the amount of time it takes to make something by hand.

She has a skill that will survive anything unlike her siblings who would crumple and die if they lost their job.<br><br>My grandson doesn’t like school - guess what I’m doing WITH him? Having him learn skills that will allow him to always be employed. If he decides to NOT go to college, he will still make money. He is 11 years old.

Many people are wood workers, but few are true craftsmen. There's a fine line between the two that's easily decernable. It's the little things a craftsman does that's the difference between a nice piece and a fabulous piece. It's also the chance to stand back and admire something created with love and care.
