  YT is basically the only &quot;social media&quot; i use i dropped everything else last year and while it sucked to start, these days it really nice. The sun rises every day and i dont feel like the world is ending every second.

  Deciding that my mid 20s meant i was too old to get on ticktok as it was for teens sounds like the best decision I ever made. Long form youtube vidoes are still my no1 use of time on the internet and i think thats good.

  I feel like the boomer generation are the real victims of misinformation found on social media. My parents would bombard us with Facebook reels that talk about health, science, culture, etc that we just ignore because if we do watch them, they turn out to be a bunch of bull. Just because it comes from someone who called themselves “dr”, it doesn’t mean it’s credible. My friends’ parents are the same way 🤷‍♀️

  I quitted social media I only use YouTube without recommendation. It’s the best thing I ever decided to do!<br><br>Update to be honest: a couple of weeks ago I decided to do a new Instagram account but I’m not using it as I did before, and I won’t. I actually decided to download it again because of a new friend I made to have contact with her because we didn’t have that bond to have the number or something and because I kind of missed it, but I’m not as much and as the way I was before on it.

  My biggest pet peeve is that everywhere i go outside my own home seems to have a tv, a brightly lit screen, or at least a radio playing. I cant escape it! <br><br>I love being home ❤ i rarely turn my tv on, or my stereo. I listen to the sounds of nature around me. I limit screen access until the afternoon; until i have been in nature, read a book, harvested from my fruit trees, exercised, gone for a walk, played with my pets, made 2 good meals... i have a rule: real life first.

  I installed Instagram years ago for memes, cat stuff ect and it seems after Covid, all I ever see is politics, politics, more politics, and strange influencer behavior... I&apos;m so sick of it 😭
