  Who is your favorite character in Andor?

  I especially like that she doesn't have some "critical trauma" like a family member killed or her homeworld annihilated in order for to do the fight for the rebellion. Sure, she has her motivations challenges within the senate, but it shows how some people choose to fight when she has everything, money, power, family and a potentially easy future but she chooses to burn that all for her cause.

  Within the shows revolutionary framework she’s basically the ideal version of a class traitor. She’s rich, holds political status and comes from noble birth, but genuinely helps the common people and sacrifices much of her privilege for them solely because it’s the right thing to do. She’s someone whose ideals transcend her upbringing and social position. I think that’s part of what makes her so aspirational in Andor. I think we all hope we’d have that level of conviction and courage were we in the same position.

  The dancing scene is one of my favorites of the first arc. She didn't have to cry or say anything, she perfectly portrayed her breakdown. It's visually haunting, especially because only we (the audience) know what's really happening in her head. The rest only saw a woman dancing at her daughter's wedding.

  I personally love her character the most in Andor. I mean a person with wealth and power displaying such courage, decency and strength when she doesn't have to. All while desperately trying her best to be a good mother, friend, leader and a good human. I am glad people like her character

  a big thanks to both gilroy for fully realizing mon and for genevieve for giving us such an amazing performance. this show had wall to wall talent and everyone brought their A game to this production. i hope the show wins many awards

  The main theme of Andor is sacrifice.  And it is through Mon Mothma's sacrifice for the rebellion which made her vulnerable that we can finally relate to her.

  This Series is proof that we as fans don&apos;t want Cameos just to satisfy nostalgia, the key is to give characters a personality, a back story that makes the audience sympathize with them. Furthermore it helps understand what pushes them to go further. And thats only achieved by giving actors scripts they can work with, so hats off to Tony Gilroy
