Holland America now charges corkage $ on any wine allowed to be brought on board. No matter where you plan to consume it.

No, Mexico is not charging a $10 fee at the dock or when you physically get off the ship. it is collected automatically by your cruise line ahead of time and bundled into your taxes, fees, or total cruise fare. The fee applies to passengers on ships that call at a Mexican port regardless of whether you actually get off the ship or stay onboard. And if you have multiple stops in Mexico, you pay $10 once not multiple times. Stop scaring people

I've been on too many cruises to count with many cruise lines. They all talk about cracking down on hogging the deck chairs but never do.

I also feel cruise lines need to start fighting back against added port fees. <br>Mexico started the $10 charge when the US started the tarif thing, now learning domestic ports are upping their fees is ridiculous. Municipalities need to realize how much a cruise ship brings into the local economy daily and how that local economy is dependent upon tourism. Stop being greedy!
