I use disc locks at home. My bikes are below my bedroom window in a car port. It's really just to buy enough time to load my gun.

Just use a disc lock with an alarm. No way you start the bike without remembering it’s there lol.

Ear plugs should have been on this list. Riding without them guarantees dramatic hearing loss in short order.

an alarm disc lock is where it’s at, you’ll never forget to take it off before you start the bike, it’s extremely difficult to cut off with an angle grinder because of the fit, and the loud ass beeping is also a very nice deterrent.

other than that, use a monimoto, it instantly calls you if the motion sensor is triggered, so you can rush outside and give an ass whooping to whoever is messing with your bike.

Alarmed disc lock saved my bike from being stolen off the street in Stretham, London.
I came back to my bike to find a team of guys about to pick up my bike and load it into a van.
But the alarm stopped them as it was just too close to the main high street with lots of people.
I would highly recommend...

I use disk locks all the time.. It comes with a cord that you attached to the handle bar so that you don't forget. It comes with an alarm as well.

My daughter and I went on a 3 week, 10,000 km (6000 mile) cross country motorcycle trip this past summer. We used a helmet to helmet comm system on the trip, and it was a 100% GAME CHANGER to be able to make on the fly decisions regarding routes, gas stops, fuel stops, hotels and camping sites, etc., without having to stop to discuss things on the ide of the road. I would NOT do another cross country "group ride" without it!

Comms system is a must have when I go riding with my partner who is a beginner rider. Handy if she has trouble at the lights and stalls, I can just remind her what to do and let her know I'm behind her like a buffer.
