It actually turned out to be a blessing that the Knicks got screwed in the lottery for Zion. Now the Knicks have the best lineup they’ve had in years and look like real contenders. Zion had a better chance of eating pizza all day with the ninja turtles than actually being the face of the Knicks.

The sad thing is no one is really talking about this rebuild for the New York Knicks. I think it's the reason of how they rebuilt this team. Dylandoesbasketball actually said it best when he said that the Knicks went to chase after their own success instead of relying on their brand to try to attract stars.

Derek Fisher era were the dark days of Knicks basketball. Fisher can't coach anywhere. Fired in the NBA, College Basketball and even WNBA(true story)

As a Knicks Fan I have been through a several President Regimes Isiah Thomas, Donnie Walsh, Glen Grunwald, Phil Jackson , & Steve Mills. Once Leon took over the organization took a shift for the better. The calculated moves him & his crew made during Drafts, Free agency, & Trades was a breath of fresh air. One thing about the way Leon constructed the roster over the years is that it's very family based. Each player on the roster has six degrees of separation from one another plus they fit Thibs system like a glove.

Leon Rose, Jalen Brunson, and Thom Thibodeau were the best things to happen to this franchise in 30 years
