i have same one and been using for about 2 years and love it. runs 24/7 on solar. i do have a ecoflow system now taking full advantage of the sun. using the smart panel 2 and delta pro ultra

I have been using the 24K off grid EG4 for over two years.  It came with seven 415 watt bifacial solar panels.  I am typically generating 360V and 2000+ watts depending on cloud cover. The system will cool the house to 65 degrees and heat the house to 75+ degrees.  The unit has been totally flawless.  I plan to connect it to my main electric panel this year to prevent my other HVAC from ever turning on.  My total cost was just under $3,400 at the time with ground mounts and accessories. I calculated my ROI to be appropriately 4 years.  So far, I am ahead of schedule.

Or, use any mini split with any decent capacity power station + solar array. Control the AC input with a Smart Switch via automation.

I love mine in my garage! I am in Fl, so AC is a premium. I did take the time to DYI insulate both garage doors, bit of a bitch, but I got it done. I then insulated my attic and walls with blown in insulation, again, a bitch, but got it done! The results have been spectacular! It’s hot as hell in Florida and I am averaging around 380 W an hour to cool the space during the day. My garage is roughly 700sf. It's a great product! But for top performance, I high recommend insulation, it's a big deal and makes a huge difference in efficiency of the unit,

Might be a good off grid solution but for a grid tied system it seems silly

The one in my living room isn't even connected to the grid. Cools the house down really well all day. When sun goes down there are two strategically placed fans keeping that part of the house comfortable. The 2nd mini split (12k) is in the master bedroom and the two units sit kitty corner from each other on opposite sides of the house. That unit and two other circuits are being powered by a YouTube special hand truck config minus the hand truck. So far it hasnt been switched over to the grid, yet. Close but not yet. It's a small system but has struck a balance. Couldn't be happier.

I would love any AC atm, mine are out on the RV and its freaking hot outside, like 101 this coming week. Got a old used 5k btu window unit from a friend but cant figure out how to put it in.  Seen  videos but no way to get the stuff to install it.  Got my fans going so its not so bad, just when i want to go to bed is hard.

Making math simple and assuming 10 cents per kilowatt hour; that is $322.41 in power savings. If you assume the national average price of 12.5 cents one needs to increase that by a quarter for around $400 or $1 a day. I have been fascinated by these for a while, but also aware payback periods need to make sense.
