RIP John. One of my all-time favorite comics. Such a fantastic storyteller who could make anything funny. I heard he was fantastic on Broadway too, but never saw him there.

Im so glad I got to see him live <br>He was scheduled for a 30 minute set and went 1hr and 30, so great!!<br>Met him after the show, great human being!

I met John when he did a show in Toronto, me and my aunt volunteered at the theatre (got to see the show for free), after the show he gave us autographed pair of his new CD.

Don’t remember what the price was, but I remember our strategic starvation period before this event. One and a half days. Any more than that, and our stomachs would shrink. Any less, and the appetite wouldn’t be as pronounced. Every time the manager saw us coming, you could tell he wasn’t happy. He tried once reminding us there was other stuff on the buffet. We laughed so hard he never bothered with that again. Eventually, he did have to stop with that weekly special. 😂
