That sheriff should be in jail. The first 24 hours are the most important when someone is gone missing especially in such a disturbing situation

It almost sounds like the Sheriffs department was trying to cover it up. Because there’s no way a law enforcement office should be that incompetent unintentionally. Just ridiculous, it’s madness.

Hats-off to Detective Hunt for solving the case due to lack of intinal police support. She deserves a medal of honour. Thank you Dective Hunt for your remarkable talent.

Post mortem means after death. She was NOT alive when her fingers and limbs were detached.

How terrible it must be to not have the sheriffs dept to support you in the disappearance of your child!

The fact that it took one detail to crack this case after so long is mind-blowing. It makes you wonder how many other cases are just one clue away from being solved

The sheriff's refusal to help makes them nearly as guilty as Brooks.

They could've saved her. What do they think their job is?!

It is disgusting that the sheriff cannot be punished for dereliction of duty.

This case makes me feel mad af. They could save her, they could find the murderer earlier, but what they did? Nothing.
