I am 74 years old, I ride a R-3 sports bike. I have been asked why "at your age" why are you doing that? I am retired army every time I get on it it feels like the first time I jumped out of an air plane. The feel of Being "FREE"!

I was 16 when you were born. Bought my first motorcycle that year. <br> 8 motorcycles , 61 years , and 400,000 miles later , still riding at 77 , NO Fear.

Everybody dies, but not everybody lives.

I'm not so afraid of having a really bad accident and dying, I'm afraid of having a really bad accident and NOT dying. I've suffered enough.

82 year old here. Started riding on a 1967 Triumph Daytona 500. I stopped riding at age 77 after having too many close calls with cars. My reaction time was decreasing and I did not want to have to recover from any more accidents. It was a wonderful ride while it lasted.

I have been riding since age four, I am now 55 (1969). Started riding street motorcycles at 17. I even raced for awhile, motocross, road racing and drag racing. Never stopped riding. None of my kids ride. They have no interest in it and i do not try to make them. Two girl’s (18 and 20) and my 16 old son. According to my wife i am obsessed with motorcycles. Our first “real” date was the super-cross in Dallas in 97. It’s my one “hobby” I never tire of. It is my escape and my therapy whenever i need to clear my head.

Born in 66', yep, Gen X'er for sure. I was raised on Briggs and Stratton powered mini-bikes, Honda XR-75, Yamaha YZ80, YZ125, YZ250, etc... Then at the ripe old age of 17, bought a Honda CX 500 Custom...I was hooked from then on...Graduated up to a Honda V-65 Magna...You get the picture. Now at the ripe old age of 59, I own (3) 80's Hondas (86 Honda Magna, 86 Honda CB700 SC NightHawk S, and an 83 Honda Sabre 750) and a Yamaha FJR 1300. I ride them all and I love them all. Am I afraid of them, NO. Do I respect them, YES. Riding is in my blood, it is the only hobby that I truly enjoy anymore! Thanks for sharing, another great video. All these youngsters need to give up playing video games in their parents basements and go ride 😎

Outstanding. You are able to put into words what the rest of us know or think but don’t express or explain as well.

Gen X here. I grew up riding bicycles everywhere... getting lost in the woods, camping overnight and fishing. The general rule was to be home when the street lights came on. Total freedom with no fear (maybe a Wolf or Werewolf, depending on imagination). Motorcycling came late in life @ 44 years of age. I am totally obsessed. I love it and have been fortunate enough to build a nice collection and ride all different makes and designs. Keep up the good work, I like your style.

I feel like motorcycling popularity goes through cyclical periods just like anything else. Covid seemed to remind a lot of people that fear can trap you in a place you don’t want to be in. You might as well live your life and enjoy it rather than locking yourself in a house to stay “safe”.

To be safe on a bike requires one to not experience fear but rather experience a certain degree of healthy apprehension at the start of each ride which helps one. E mindful and focus on the actions of riding.
