  Was the Word of Fatih movement--Copeland etc late 90s and early 2000s NAR but not called that .. more Name and Claim it ministry but was their authority still a model of NAR?

  His clarity at the end with NAR clarity and not presuming but discussing the heirachy verses elders and the teaching in Acts 15.. Would be a great teaching in itself with many NAR churches or even when elders are present but not utilized or competent to fulfill this role.

  loved his teaching on asking about grace and teasing that out in hypercharismatic church and works verse sefl exaltation ( self righteousness) such a good teaching

  Would love for you to have him back and have deep dive into discernment, book of Corinthian ; how the cessessionist support gifts stopped and why the whole of scripture may not support this maybe two different views;  steve lawason reformed elite intellectual teacher verses a todd white supernatural counterfeit why do all follow purpose found in different leaders; sefl exaltation verese humble movement in gifts... and I do wonder how we all say eschatology is a nonessential which i agree with yet with the extremem post mill and usher in the end and apostles and the replacement etc I do now wonder if it is becoming more in line with herectical views pretermism and a sly deceptive teaching..  Also, supernaturl healing from prayer deliverance but in my life it aslo when with repentance of sin and seemed to be God orchestrating all in a certain period of my life.

  this is so informative also helps me in my though process what to do with it all so many years after my 1st encounter, especially your "part 3", I am busy writing down this story, and one of my biggest challenges is getting back into ministry at this point, to find the right people, since I cannot just go back into what I came out from. So finding the right network of people seem to be a challenge. Also I keep on ministering as I cannot keep the gospel for myself. As I said on your FB page I was involved with this from 1996 with Toronto, but the stream that reached South Africa and I remember we travelled all through South Africa, I have even been to Malawi with the church and other all across Africa.

  Your stories are so similar to mine, although i was in hypercharismania for over a decade. I am now in the center of the pendulum, having processed and repented from some bitterness i allowed to settle in my heart. I also completely despised prophecy and questioned all of my experiences. I was the one in hypercharismania that essentially taught people how to falsely prophesy as bethel taught it and also facilitated sozos. Ive had to do a lot of repenting and have much more to do im sure. This video was very healing and i appreciate both of your stories.

  I think the Darren Wilson movies were responsible for much of these issues.. &nbsp;The compelling nature of the movies, where he said he pretended he was a skeptic, then saw these miracles, it&apos;s how many of us were disarmed and drawn in. &nbsp;Just seeing that clip of Korn again... I&apos;ve followed Brian Head Welch and he doesn&apos;t appear to subscribe to these beliefs, he has studied the word, worked through tough sanctification in his own life and is a faithful follower and testifier of the love and power of God. I felt like maybe Todd White used him to access more followers.. just my thoughts. &nbsp; <br><br>This vid helped me not throw it all out, as I&apos;ve been tempted to do, but to consider what is Biblical in supernatural practice. I related to so much here... thank you.

  Great discussion for those of us who are continuationists but don&apos;t agree with the excesses of NAR and instead want to stay Scripturally grounded in our walk with Jesus.<br>And we all have our wonderful stories of being in God&apos;s presence, God showing us things, being healed, etc. But with that, abuses and terrible theology got mixed in. It can take years to detangle and come to understand what was of God and what wasn&apos;t.

  I feel very seen, as they say. I started out in Church of Christ. Very biblical based but also anti anything Supernatural. I moved into a Pentecostal Church and then into the &quot;hyper charismatic stream&quot;. I questioned Todd Bentley, IHOP Kansas City, the seven Mountain mandate... and was pretty much ostracized from the entire congregation. I stayed and prayed and asked God that if this were not of him that he would shut it down and that if it was of him he would change my mind and heart. The pastors came in on a Sunday, said they were moving out of state, and the small congregation closed. The trauma and deconstruction of all of my past beliefs has taken many years and I am still not a member of any congregation because I am so suspicious and afraid of getting into that mess again. However a friend and I who was in that church have done weekly Bible studies for the past 10 plus years together. She has found a church that she likes. A little Baptist place. But I miss the freedom of worship and use of the gifts there. I will continue to pray that God leads me to the place that I can heal and be useful for his kingdom. Thank you so much for this discussion.
