I believe French military instructors are highly professional. They apply appropriate encouragement and pressure to help selected personnel overcome challenges. Unfortunately, the South Korean military lacks this.

Those guys aren’t soldiers, they’re ghosts—no names, no past, just pain and discipline. You don’t join the Legion, you survive it.

I think I understand why they suffer as they do they want to be recognised as elite soldiers the Legion is legendary.

This is great to see. A former serving Commando of 148bty and para trained, later 42 Royal Marines Commando. My good friend, who was a former Para Regt, he later joined the French Legion and he enjoyed his time, learnt French quickly! And enjoyed having a glass of wine with his evening meals.
