  I was part of the Fire and Rescue team for Telstra Rally Australia here in Western Australia, and I had the opportunity to see these cars up close and mingle with the drivers. I’ll always remember the smell of that green fuel they used, it’s a memory that has stuck with me all these years. These two cars were a big part of what inspired me to later buy a Bug Eye WRX, and eventually an EVO 8 MR. <br> <br>Thanks for the memories. Chris.

  Fond memories of being in my local Welsh forests waiting for Colin, Richard, Tommi to come through . Nothing like the sound of a rally car reverberating through the forests

  I still find these two liveries and these two cars to be incredibly evocative. Every time I see one I’m transported back to my old bedroom, watching the extended Sunday afternoon coverage of the Network Q. Bliss!

  After 28 years I stil own my Impreza Turbo GC8 that I&apos;ve bought new in 1999 ! 200,000+ miles and still going on ! I never sell that amazing car...<br><br>The Nokia 3210 in the EVO is ace equipment....

  Wow owning an Evo and an Impreza both official WRC cars is amazing.<br><br>The sound of that Evo when you first took it out what a sound wow.<br><br>Yup rally cars and rallying is so much better than F1.

  Had my evo 8 since 2008 . Was never a hater of scooby, the evo is just more special to me.
