  I just recently completed a binge-watch of Babylon 5. I thought it was pretty good. I mean compared to DS9 the cg effects were laughable but I wasn’t there for the cg but instead the story. I think that considering the overall arc had to be tweaked cause the main actor had to leave the show after season one (for understandable reasons) it told a pretty good story. I think that two of my favorite things were the Odd Couple vibe that developed between Londo & G’Kar and that one episode where it featured two mechanics and their story while the station and main characters are relegated to the sidelines.

  I wondered how Americans pronounce Straczynski's name and man, this is even better than rendering Sapkowski as "Sapkauskee". :D

  I am from Holland, the Netherlands and because of 1940/1945 I can very much relate that has happened with the Narn in Babylon 5; <br>the same evil that is behind The Holocaust and 9/11; the totally and utterly disrespect for human lives. <br> <br>I am afraid that if we never ever do learn from the past (unlike that whatever has wiped out the Dinosaur) our own stupidity will be the cause of our extinction. <br>However, Babylon 5 is a true masterpiece which like a gigantic mirror reflects the past into the future and through Babylon 5 we are able to learn from it. <br>Perhaps Babylon 5 is our last, best hope for peace...

  I remain a huge Star Trek TOS fan to this day, but after the early films newer Trek became rather meh for me. There was still parts of TNG I liked, but it still didn’t have the same vibe for me. I started watching DS9 and then I discovered Babylon t. It was like a light went on, illuminating all the things I felt was missing in contemporary Trek (and I still feel that way). B5 is still amazing after all these years, and given current events it feels ever more relevant. To this day Original Star Trek and Babylon 5 are my two favourite series.

  No verdict?.Every B5 fan knows that ster trek stole his idea after rejecting it.The proof came years later from an former paramount secretary who said that the bible was seen by executives and given to star treks writers.
