FYI: American author Henry David Thoreau came through this area in July 1861, on his way back to Massachusetts. He had spent a month out in Minnesota, for his health. He and his traveling companion Horace Mann Jr. rode by train from Toronto to Prescott. The railroad line still passes through many of the towns along the river, including Kingston. When I traced his route years ago, I drove through them all instead of taking the highway. I wanted to follow the railroad line as much as possible. At Prescott, Thoreau and Mann took a ferry across the St. Lawrence to Ogdensburgh, New York. And then they rode a train the whole next day to Boston. Anyway. Obviously I didn't stop at ALL of the fun sites along the way. I'll have to come across the border sometime and do it all again. It looks as though you guys had a terrific holiday! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Kevin and Kristine! We were your neighbours two sites down. It was such a pleasure meeting and chatting with you. It was the highlight of our trip! Thank you for being such a wonderful ambassador of our natural spaces. Huge respect for you! Maybe we’ll run into you camping again sometime!

Fun video. Good to see you out having fun camping with Kristine and Angel. Glad that chanting didn't ruin the rest of your trip.

I think I remember a couple years ago Christine mentioning it that the Village was free.

Hey Kevin , Kristine , Nice spot love the set up, Good to see ya Kristine , LMAO, Camping with the Coles good one ! This really is a nice spot, too bad about the noise you campers had to deal with that would suck. They shouldn't be that loud and yes the park needs to inform campers in the area . Dinner and meals in general looked tasty . Tunnel looked very interesting . as well as the trails . Thanks for letting us tag along

Thanks for your honest review! I will never go there. We went to Ivy Lea last year and their privy’s were disgusting. Glad to see Christeen and Angle. You to Kevin.😊

Yiiiikes. Noise that loud that late at night/early morning is wild. I woke up to go to the washroom at Emily Provincial and someone was blasting their radio at 3am. I don't know what the heck compels others to behave like that. If you want to party, fine: go to a club.
