  Ok so my theory is that the horror was because the main character was in between life and death. If not for the doctor on board, he would have died. The girl and her brother <i>did</i> die, and thats why it wasn&apos;t your time to get off the train, but it was theirs. Ending 1 is probably failing to hold onto life. Ending 2 is helping them move onto the afterlife

  Holy crap, that is LITERALLY WHAT THE LITTLE BALLS IS FOR. They don&apos;t turn trains around in Japan at the end of the line, they go though every car and turn around every row of seats by pulling those little balls. This blew my mind when I watched them do it.

  I feel that she has completely missed that the boy and the girl commit suicide. And she was talking to their ghosts the whole time.<br>Thats why she wantet to say yes, as the boy asks her to follow. She didn´t realize that this was a question to follow them into the afterlife.
