Researching this story took us deep into satellite imagery, Scandinavian investigative reports, and expert interviews across Europe. One striking finding: between Belomorsk and Murmansk in this crucial area for Russia's military, we identified at least 50 vulnerable railway bridges and wetland crossings - where there's no viable alternative. But knowing the potential nuclear repercussions, would NATO ever really put pressure on the Kola Peninsula in a conflict?

"Why is Finland a problem for Russia"? The Question is rather "Why is Russia threatening and causing problem for all other countries"?.

Norway knows all too well what Kola is as NATO's nuclear "canary in the coal mine" for all these years. So glad to have Finland as a trusted neighbour.

Russia does not really need to worry about Finland unless it wants to attack NATO. They can choose.

Finland does not have an army, it is an army.

There is a lot that all the other NATO countries could learn from Finland, and I say this as a former member of the British Royal Air Force.
