I've never really played a game like this before and I must admit I'm kinda getting overwhelmed by it

THANK YOU for finally saying “you can just do whatever you want as your main & have fun with it” before going into the more structured ideas for layout.

I just started this game and as a nearly blind gamer it’s been A LOT. I’m having a blast taking my pre made main characters as i go and focusing less structured with my main. Tons of creators really had me wondering if I would be able to even play this game due to the tiny visuals + so much technical / statistical team builds.
I can honestly say the game gives you the tools that you can just do a blind (no pun intended) play-through and have it be functional.

Multiclassing wizard can work in an interesting (if rather niche) way: make them stupid. A low Int wizard can invest in spells that don't rely on saves or spell attack rolls and put their stats somewhere more appropriate to their other class.

This method works even better if you grab a headband of intellect.

Great guide, I always play the meathead tank type, mostly because I don't know how to play the more subtle squishy characters. This helped me a lot, thanks!
