  The book jacket is so that you can take the dust jacket off your special editions and put the book jacket on instead - protects your book from the oils on your hands while reading it, and any other possible yuckies that might get on your book!

  Actually a really cool way to use those is sealing letter if you mail letters to people or bills it makes intrigue and that person or a business is open on quicker which is really neat

  You can use the booksleeve when you read a book that has foiling on the cover, it prevents you from rubbing off the foiling with your fingers while reading. Ik have one that is usualy meant voor schoolbooks.
