Bale of that time period was so so good and so underrated now. If not for injuries he’d have been at their level for longer. 2012-16/17 he was unstoppable and some of the goals he was scoring were mental

That RM squad from Mourinho to Zidane was packed with too much quality all round. All legends 🙌

Fascinating how MSN and BBC were polar opposites in terms of playing style

BBC is to Real Madrid like MSN is to Barcelona and both squads always made us enjoy watching every time Barcelona and Real Madrid faced each other.

I still admire how for many seasons, Bale would just return from injury and go straight to business. No adaptation period needed, you could instantly rely on him as soon as he returned, until his body could not take it anymore.

That 2011-12 Madrid team is the greatest la liga champion statistically speaking. Di Maria's role in the la decima season was so good, at the start of season he was displaced by bale and fans were asking for him to be sold, carlo played him in a midfield 3 and that changed the season for REAL.

People always say they wish Ronaldo Nazario wasn’t so injury prone, my wish was to see Bale’s outcome if he wasn’t injury prone…
