  My 4th and oldest bunny died in May. She was 13 years old. &nbsp; Bunnies are such underrated companions.

  I imagine living with critters is like being immortal. You know everyone you love will pass before you do but it doesn&apos;t make the loving relationships you have any less worth it

  I think the underlying and maybe unintended reveal of this video, is that a lot more people deeply and intimately bond with their animals than you may realize. They really are our family, our children. The grief and the loss are not diminished by the difference in species.. connection with another living thing is connection with another living thing.

  Lorelei, you always make me cry lately. Whenever you talk about Lennon, her last months, her passing or your grief, I cry with you because I feel your love and pain so empathically. Know that she is always with you as your guarding bunny-angel. I have learned so, so much from you and always send your videos for the important, informative content about caring for bunnies to my friends with the cutest and sweetest bunny on Earth to me. You also inspired me to get a bunny/two bunnies in the near future from a shelter in Cologne, Germany.<br>Love you, hug you if allowed and thank you for all the amazing informative and awareness work you do for all the amazing bunnies and animal friends and family in the world.<br>You bring light into this world and Lennon is part of your light.   Loved this honest convo between friends. I had a bun who was much like the little lionhead. She was not very affectionate and very independent and she loved my kids but didn’t care that much for me even though I tried SO hard to build a bond. I still loved her and cared for her until she sadly passed due to a complication with her spay but it always stings a little when a pet you look after so diligently doesn’t return love the way you wish they would but it’s true that you have to respect them as a separate little soul and accept them as they are.
