Use to live at Goldenwest and 20th.Surfed every day there was waves. Fisherman hooked me once south side of pier,luckily only got the wetsuit. Night surfing at the pier got kind of spooky.From the video it seemed like the pilings created their own tough of sand like a valley ,maybe contributes to the better shaped waves either side of pier.

Great video reminds me of some good old days 🤙🏼 my grandfather Joe Rommelfanger taught me how to body board there, they lived up the street 😁
