Remember you go to the gym to damage muscles not build them, The building part is the much undervalued sleep and high protein diet.

Keep moving is my moto! The more manual work I do on my farm the better I feel - I’m 70.

If you are starting to work out, and feel discouraged about your output in relation to others, DONT! It’s not about the weight or intensity about the exercise as it is about the CONSISTENCY!

Consistency is the key, to looking and feeling great. Start light, only increase weight and intensity when you feel the exercises are becoming light work for you. We all want big muscles or a tight, toned form, but it’s imperative to realize those things take time and consistency. It will happen, just be patient, eat right, and grind & mill your daily workouts, with appropriate rest days.

When I visited Africa in the 90's I was astonished at the strength of the men and women there who were very lean. Women could hoist 5 gallon buckets almost full of water or wood or some other substance effortlessly onto their shoulders or more often their head and walk anywhere from 1/2 mile to 2 miles with it. They didn't have muscle mass but my goodness they did have strength!

I’ve watched a lot of videos about weight training, and this one, by far, has been the most informative.
