Golden Axe is a Japanese arcade scrolling action game released in 1989 by Sega Enterprises (later Sega). The title screen's title kanji is "Tomahawk". A long time ago, "Fire and Wood Kingdom ファイヤー＝ウッド" was destroyed by a demon. The prosperity of the past 600 years has disappeared without a trace because of this demon. His name is "Death Adder (デス アダー / Death Adder )". The Diabol's demon legion likes to plunder and slaughter, as long as the cities passed by the Diabol are not only burned, killed and plundered, but also the captured people will be devoured. Only one soldier and two children escaped from that country at the time... And 20 years later, the demons with too much power began to march towards the southern power "Southwood Kingdom (サウスウッド)". Overnight, the Nanmu Kingdom perished. The King and Queen were also kidnapped by the Death Serpent. In order to save it, the soldiers went to the castle where "Death Adder (デスアダー / Death Adder)" was located.
