Nomadic Life | A Single Mother with Three Children; Building a Stone House and Surviving in Nature

In this video, we join a hardworking nomadic family; by the Khersan River, in the heart of mountainous nature and cloudy and partly rainy weather 🌧️☁️ A true story of Iranian nomadic life, effort, patience and survival. The day begins with work… The mother leads the sheep out of the pen 🐑 Benyamin leads the flock to the mountain pasture ⛰️ Hesti and Behnam stay with the little lambs and take care of them 🤍 Mahdiyeh, the mother of the family, gives the newborn sheep and goats straw and fodder to feed them, and the twin lambs suckle under their mother. The father of the family has gone to the city to work as a laborer, and now it is the mother who bears the burden of life with her three children 💪 Along with herding cattle, it is time to build a stone house with mud 🪨🏠 A simple but sturdy house, with empty hands and a hopeful heart. Behnam places the mud on the stones and the mother skillfully stacks the stones. The children give him the stones with love ❤️ All together, slowly, they build a stone shelter in the heart of nature. The mother goes to the river to look after the livestock and, thank God 🙏 She catches a fish 🐟 She takes it for her children's lunch; a simple but loving meal. They collect stones with carts and hands, In cold, cloudy and partly rainy weather 🌧️ This is what survival in the heart of nature means… After a few hours of work, Mahdieh fries the fish and then cooks traditional fish soup with water 🍲 Behnam also uses a shovel to pour mud into the stones as mortar. At sunset, Benjamin and the sheep return from the mountains 🌄 Mother and children pour straw and fodder into the mangers together so that the sheep stay full 🐑🌾 Herding on cold and cloudy days means non-stop effort.
