  Thing you have to understand is that this movie was directed by Sam Raimi. He did the OG Spider-Man trilogy and - more importantly - has a very distinct style that he originally derived in the Evil dead franchise.<br><br>I would recommend watching his catalog, and then come back to this movie. I feel like people who are familiar with Sam (and Bruce Campbell) enjoyed this movie way more.

  Interesting and horrifying fact (recently realized) is that when Professor X is murdered by Wanda most assumed (including myself) that she broke his neck, but in actuality she tore his head into two pieces at the jawline. Someone on the internet freeze framed it and now I can’t unsee it.😬
