The most complete artist in the history of entertainment. No doubt.

I was there at that concert that night. I couldn't believe it then, and all these years later I still can't believe that I was there. I was 36 that night and Barbra was 51. I'm now almost 68, and it still remains the most exciting evening/event of my life.

I saw this June 26,1994 at Madison Square Garden. When the orchestra started the buildup at"The more I live, the more I learn" 18,000 people moved to the edge of their seat. The energy of the crowd's anticipation actually made a humming noise. That had never happened to me before, and hasn't since.

This is transcendent. A performance like this electrifies the atmosphere in the stadium. We are so lucky that recording and filming techniques were perfected in time to capture her entire career.

I saw her do this live at MSG in 1994. Unforgettable. The whole show was perfection.

You must watch Yentl. It is A MASTERPIECE!
She directed, produced, starred in the movie. It won a Golden Globe, but was snubbed by the Oscars. It is my favorite movie of all time.
For a lighter touch, What's Up Doc highlights her comedic skills as well. She is friggin' brilliant.

The emotional impact is compounded by the fact that Barbra's father died when she was very young, he never saw her success.
