I'm a 55 year old female, enjoyed hip hop in the 80's, 90's, Early 2000's, Kendrick is my favorite, he talks about things that matter, his music has substance, that's why the culture respects him👑

Clock it. You can’t learn AA culture just by becoming a rapper and cosplaying. It’s how you were raised. It’s engrained into your dna and how you move through the world. Most ppl I know from the hood would never glorify it. It’s traumatic and truly a blessing to escape.

Toure is an amazing storyteller. I follow his rhythmic flow as much as the story itself.

I’m a 60 year old white man who grew up in the Valley and once did jury duty in Compton. You’ve opened up a whole wonderful world of art for me. Love your work. Thank you.

Kendrick Lamar this year- First time I listened to rap since Tupac Shakur died in 1996, 43 year old white woman in London UK 🇬🇧 living in poverty. Seeing Kendrick live last month was the most emotional experience & communal spiritual moment I’ve had since my twenties ❤ Something special is happening. Tupac was the first brick in the revolution & Kendrick could be the next. He knows that and it scares him but he seems to be facing his responsibility with the same strength Tupac was born with. Respect and thanks from everyone living under oppression across the world.

Professor Skye has an awesome new playlist on Haiti and revolution - I recommend it! It is time for Revolution in the USA & the UK.

I am sick of immigrants and poor people being blamed for societies problems while genocide is ignored worldwide!!

Time to fight back!!!

Seeing Clipse in November 🙏🏻 ❤

As someone who is from Compton and lives in Compton we do get a bad reputation because of what the new show and music to Compton is just like any other city it has its good and bad, ups and downs, I love my city we are unique people here. Great Video.

The more times I watch the Superbowl performance, the more shocked I am people don't think it was "deep enough" or that Kendrick didn't take a big enough swing with that performance. It's not only a wonderful celebration of his own work but where he was at at that time AND the African-American experience at large. It was poetry!

Wow, Touré!
Teach, preach, and let it reach them.
As Tupac might have said:
You are appreciated.
Word to the Alpha Centauri
