  I live East of the Mississippi, in red clay country, where the soil PH is acidic. Adding Ammonium SULFATE, will be counterproductive. Should I use a combination of lime to increase the PH followed by ammonium nitrate as a substitute for ammonium sulfate? I assume a soil PH meter would be beneficial?

  Apply at half rate?? Wtf that mean?40lb per 1000.  So what are u saying?  20lb/1000???????

  I have been reseeding patchy areas of my lawn every spring and watching them fail to establish before summer heat sets in without ever finding something that creates permanent coverage that holds through changing seasons and heavy use. What is the most important thing to get right about how these two powders are applied together for someone who has had repeated failed attempts at fixing the same patches and suspects there may be an underlying soil issue preventing anything from taking hold permanently?

  Hello. I have a lawn that I have been struggling with for seven years. Before I moved in the area was a forest and as I have been told 100 years before it was a farm. It the area for my lawn sits along side a 1/4 acre garden. I just performed a soil test and am sending it out for evaluation. My next step is aeration and then fertilizer.  The lawn has always been patchy. I used to have a golf course lawn in my previous home and I am trying to duplicate that here in middle Tennessee. Should I aerate before trying the calcium sulfate and Ammonia sulfate. You video is very encouraging.

  Larry, I am in Prosper and recently had a solid test done. My PH is within range, not too high, not too low and my calcium is on the high side, would you still recommend these two products? Bermuda is my grass type.<br>Thanks!
