  Watching men in remote mountain villages greet Noraly with reciprocated friendliness, kindness, and respect fills me with hope for humanity.  Noraly's giggled "they expected me to be a guy" is precious.

  "It's a woman! Yes, it is!" Priceless... 71 yr old American, married to an Indian in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. The roads are similar, but aI am shocked to see those giant Toyota vans on the road. Only seen them in Nepal. People are so nice, and their hospitality is wonderful to see. I wish Indian media wouldn't demonize the Pakistanis so much. Beautiful country, rich history and shared ancestry, in most cases. Bless you for showing us a different country, again, in such a non-judgmental way. A pleasure Noraly. And Thank you!

  Pakistani is a beautiful country more than what we are told by western media. The people are so wonderful.  Just seeing a lady cycling alone makes me feel a hope for today and tomorrow. Thank u Noraly for making us see what The fake news show us. Viva Pakistani 🇵🇰. Africa is watching you with joy. Humanity and human kindness on display. They gave u free water to drink and free meals sometimes. Where in Europe do u get that ? Viva Pakistani

  Oh, I actually did almost exactly the same way on motorcycle in 96-97. I started in Istanbul, then Iran, Afganistan , India, Pakistan and then Burma down to Singapore. A fantastic way, bad roads, strange police and military especially in Burma, landslides, cold and very poor and war suffering people. But people was so kind and nice, I felt welcome in every place. I traveled alone, but are a man with special forces education. You are just amazing, so brave and wonderful, lonley women on those roads and places. So much stronger than me

  I was here in the summer of 2005, took a bus and van into China. Pakistanis are some of the friendliest people in the world. I never paid for a chai. The food is amazing. Happy trails.

  Now you’re in gilgit territory. I was there when I was 17. Years old. Now I’m 78 . I would love to go back and see it again. There are more vehicles than when I was there . Those mountains with the snow are the same ones I referenced to in an earlier text to you . When you get into them it will make you feel really small. They are awesome. I haven’t forgotten them all these years.<br>Be safe and enjoy.

  Come on people, the documented number of times were men have treated Itchy Boots with respect and friendliness speaks volumes about humanity!!! Pakistan I have a whole different view thanks to this brave woman!!!

  Watching that tanker reverse on you Noraly brought back a traumatic memory. &nbsp;Nerve wracking when something suddenly reverses on you, I was on a very steep hill when a local bus suddenly decided to reverse, the were steep banks on ether side, I was beeping and trying to push my bike backwards as fast as I could, then my feet slipped on some stones and I dropped the bike on myself, the bus then proceeded to drive over my bike, I really thought I was going to die as I watched the bus&apos;s back wheel go over my bike and started to drag me back thank God some kids in the back of the bus looked out of the back window and could see the bike going under the bus and told the driver. I was a complete mess, I woke up in a farmers house with my boots and trousers off with my feet in a large bucket. It was not pretty. There is much more to this story but that was enough.
