Hader is the only person I've heard do a Kubrick impression... and it's fucking spot on.

A film I can watch over and over again and never see it the same way twice.

I've never heard someone say the shape of Shelly Duvall's face looks like a parking meter, but now I can't unsee it

Louis CK is just naturally funny. Like he can just rant about stuff and it's still hilarious.

What Bill Burr is talking about at 13:45 is THE STANLEY HOTEL in Colorado. The movie was not filmed there. It is where STEPHEN KING got the idea for THE SHINING when staying there. The MOVIE exterior shots were filmed at the Timberline Lodge in Mount Hood, Oregon. The interior shots are sets at a studio in England.

Shelley Duvall's floppy-armed running in The Shining is borderline hilarious. Like she's channeling her Olive Oyl performance from Popeye the same year.

The level of misunderstanding and misinformation is mind-boggling.

Kubrick was a singular film maker. His messaging, his pacing, his shot selection, his lighting, just all so perfect together.

Doesn't Burr know buildings like the Overlook have to be maintained over a long, harsh winter? The movie even says this when the manager talks to Jack about running the boiler.
