  FINALLY! someone has the common sense of insulating the OUTSIDE of a metal box. How hard is it for people to understand, it's soo much better to keep the metal box, which conducts thermal energy so well, from getting hot or cold in the first place, rather than trying to keep that heat or cold from being transmitted after the fact.

  This is what we are planning to do. I’m one of the few that isn’t super attached to the shipping container metal aesthetic so we are keen to do this!❤ we are also using the oldest dingiest shipping containers as we can’t afford one use/new. Excellent video mate!🇦🇺🙌

  Weird question: Is there any way at all to spray a radiant barrier on the exterior of a shipping container that makes sense? And then add your brackets. I know it requires an air-gap, just thinking out loud that some foam board might have a standoff under the exterior framing that would provide that air-gap. I'm in Florida where it's bloody hot and humid.

  hmmmmm, spray foaming the underside seems far more preferable other than access, but I'd jack the container up enough to spray it there...

  Id youre going to frame on the outside and put siding etc on what is the point of using a shipping container?<br>Cost of delivery plus cost of the container is more expensive than to frame and sheath a shed that size

  Hey Matt.... Quick question... Is that round, black wafer on the back of the X-Bracket a magnet? Or what is that? Magnet to hold it in place maybe while the adhesive sets up? Thanks!
