Who invited the MLA to perform her constitutional duties at a rich person’s private function? She was elected to serve her constituency, not to collect hospitality at private celebrations. If she chose to attend, she went as a guest—and hospitality is between the host and the guest. Not every missing courtesy needs to be converted into a public controversy.
