I seem to be noticing something particular with GM and company ownership

I'll never forgive those responsible for the shut-down of Holden. The pinnacle of Aussie Power reduced to a bunch of ageing cars and zero support to keep the name alive....

I was a line mechanic for Oldsmobile back in the late 1960’s - 1971 some of the best cars ever made very powerful v8 and luxury cars Oldsmobile was the test car for GM everything that GM made came out first in Oldsmobile from the first muscle car to the tornado ,I had a 1968 Oldsmobile 98L with the 455 engine that car was built at that time on the Cadillac assembly line , the quality and build of that car showed what Oldsmobile can make .

I noticed two commonalities: 1) When they start sharing bodies with different brand names, the end is near, and 2) when they listen to the bean counters the end is not only near, but banging on the door.

4:28 ah yes, I remember when Tucker was so ahead of it's time it not only had interior features 70 years ahead of it's time, it had Mazda's logo before Americans even knew of Mazda's existence /s.

I miss AMC the most. Saab next. Both were innovative cars on a budget. That always appeals to me.

I love how most of these end with "and then General Motors showed up"
