  Really solid video — clear and full of stuff I wish I’d known before driving there. I learned more in 17 minutes than I did in a week of pure confusion and wrong turns. Easily the best guide for surviving Irish roads without total humiliation. Thank you from future me this November when I'm there.

  As an American, the scariest were the regional roads that were narrow and had walls and hedgerows with no shoulder and you had a tour bus coming the other way. Never had a problem but you had to learn to trust the bus driver.<br><br>Problematic for me was me turning left too sharply and hitting a curb. I had to buy a tire in Cork.<br><br>That was about 20 years ago.<br><br>Great video!

  Thanks to you Laura, I enjoyed my trip in Ireland a lot 2 months ago. I visited Dublin, Kilkenny, Cork, Cliffs of Moher, Kinsale and Cobh. Cannot wait to explore more! Greetings from Turkey and hopefully you&apos;ll visit our country too!🇮🇪☘️🇹🇷

  I have been once to Ireland. Had no problems with the roads. The weather, however... Had intended it to be a camping holiday but the wind and rain destroyed my tent &nbsp;and we changed to using B&amp;Bs. It rained all week, and this was mid-summer.

  Great video Laura and thanks for all your videos, very informative and they helped us out both times we have been to your country. <br><br>I would say for someone coming to drive that is not used to driving on the left side is take your passenger mirror and aim it down to see the road so you can see how much room you have left. This helped a lot when out in the country on smaller roads.

  Not all Irish rental cars have automatic transmission. &nbsp;Remembering how to drive a manual is complicated by learning to shift with your left hand.
