  Personal experience: I don&apos;t believe the metallic material is at risk of wearing off. What people seem to be talking about is &apos;&apos;fabric paint&apos;&apos; which is a paint made FOR FABRIC. this paint wears off over time, especially since most plushies using it are vintage. The metallic fabric in question doesn&apos;t appear to be fabric paint??<br><br>I personally DON&apos;T believe this material should wear off? but even then, in 10 YEARS would mean that your plushie is old overall. Plushies tend to wear off after a while (queue in the *to be loved is to be changed meme*) and I can only imagine the plushie to lose its original value if you keep on washing/playing with it (which I imagine is NOT the case with these plushies, being a collectible item)<br><br>in short: I don&apos;t believe that this fabric is an issue overall.

  My daughter just got her first 3 hex plushies for Christmas. Original Freddy, &nbsp;Funtime Foxy and GlamRock Freddy. She loves them. Thanks Lewis ❤
