Patrick Boyle built one of finance YouTube's most respected brands around three credentials: hedge fund manager, university professor, and independent financial analyst. In this investigation, we examine the record behind those credentials. We reconstruct the performance and decline of Palomar Fund, trace extensive sourcing patterns in Boyle's YouTube videos, and investigate Trading and Pricing Financial Derivatives, the academic finance textbook he co-authored with Jesse McDougall and used in university teaching. I compiled the Wikipedia findings into a 31-page Evidence Report containing historical revision IDs, timestamps, and side-by-side comparisons so viewers can inspect the evidence themselves.
