I can't ever forget that he swung from the same building in every episode time and time...and time again.

Those scenes of the stuntman actually climbing up the side of a skyscraper, shown in a long shot, stayed with me since childhood. Yes, upon recent rewatch the green screen bits do stand out more than they did in the 80s but the rest of the practical moves are unbelievably good.

So, we live in a world where the 1970's Japanese Spider-Man is easier to find than the 1970's US Spider-Man show? Who'd a thunk it?!

I wish they release a skin with that costume on the Spiderman game. Really.

If he and the Japanese Spider-Man meet up in a live action Spider-Verse movie, IT WOULD BE AMAZING!!!!

Nicholas Hammond was the perfect '70s/Bronze-Age of Comics, Spider-Man. He was great as Peter. Smart but not nerdy, shy but not a pathetic loser. That's the way Peter Parker was in the 1970's. Also the infamous cocky, sarcastic, humor of Peter Parker/Spider-Man is there if you listen for it. Parker's struggle with money and trying to do the right thing despite who he might hurt is in the late '70s tv show.

Nicholas Hammond deserves, deserves, deserves to get a cameo in the upcoming Spidey flick.

I'm old enough to remember both the Electric Company Spiderman and the 1977 TV series. Loved them both! Dang it I am old.
