  One thing that could be interesting is Peter's superhuman metabolism. Since he needs it for his strength and healing factor, having a limited supply of food in a post-apocalyptic world might be a struggle for him since he has such a big calorie intake.

  Not only do i think he would survive i would expect most versions of the character to find a cure without harming a child. Comic book geniuses are on another level than the more realistic scientists The Last of Us portrays.

  Spider man is too smart, hed probably find a cure for the cordyceps in like a week. And nothing in the verse can even keep up with him physically or even hurt him. This is too easy for spiderman.

  Actually the way I see it is that spiderman being a scientist would find a large backpack to carry his chemistry set to make his web fluid from the looted or scavenge chemical he needs to make his web fluids.<br><br>Spiderman might customize his own spidersuit in order to increase his own chances of survival.

  So what I&apos;m hearing is Spidey saves Joel in LOUS2. Peter keeps Joel from gunning down the doctor which prevents that revenge quest for Joel&apos;s life. Not trying to ponder the domino effect there, this is a good enough outcome for me lol.

  Spider man would be emotionally intelligent enough to ask enough to learn about ellie&apos;s first friend about &quot;waiting it out&quot; previously and mention the same thing to her when she says she wants to sacrifice herself for the cordyceps virus, by playing into her previous memory he basicly reminds her that what they have from the samples might be enough to progress further before making a decision like sacrificing herself.
