8:50 Basically, the Astartes program got an upgrade known as Primaris. Titus was an original Astartes who got upgraded into a Primaris, Gadriel was a Primaris from the start

Ah, TheRussianBadger. Always fun in a chaotic, messy way, but that's why I, at the very least, enjoy his content.

Out of the Space Marine 2 main crew, Gadriel and Titus survived. Chairon got offscreened by GW.

I believe it was a footnote in a codex. The “oh and Chairon’s dead” blurb.

Definitely play this game, whether it's on stream or not. It's definitely an improvement over the first Space Marine, and the first Space Marine was still pretty damn good.

Campaign isn't bad and serves as a good training session for the PvE content, which is usually (but not exclusively) the missions happening off-screen that Titus assigns to another team of space marines.

But also, you get to play different classes, and I can't describe how fun it is to use the grapple to dropkick xenos in the face. Or playing the Heavy and just unleashing hell downrange.

19:31 worth noting there is a difference still, Fencing and Balance actually parry, which lets you do a Gun Strike, where as Block doesn't parry, but instead gives you a stack of Adrenaline Surge which can stack twice in a 35 second window. 1 stack of Adrenaline Surge gives your next melee strike +30% damage, but 2 stacks gives your next strike +90% damage, causes an explosion, and restores armor while gun strikes on their own only give armor when the gun strike kills the target

The super soldier thing is referencing the primaris tech of the rubicon surgery, look max boy is mad that titus isnt made a primaris at the start but made into one after nearly dying
