  Che documentario, che storia, bellissima. Marco Pedrini, è stato un immenso alpinista, sia in montagna, che su falesia. L&apos;ascensione in solitaria del Cerro Torre, una prima assoluta nel tempo, rimarrà per sempre ed inscalfibile, nella categoria delle imprese alpinistiche.<br>Viva Marco Pedrini, che ha portato onore e gloria, al Canton Ticino...🔥💪

  Con 17 años y viviendo en Buenos Aires y a travéz de un amigo común de la familia (Carlos Abel Balda, Ya fallecido), Tuve la suerte de tener en mi casa a Marco Pedrini, Fulvio Mariani y Lucia y a Romolo Notaris que estaban preparando una expedición a la Patagonia para hacer el Torre, El Fitz Roy y una publicidad de una acención en bicicleta al Aconcagua (El Futre). Sus increíbles historias despertaron en mi el interés por el montañismo. Fue muy lindo encontrar esta película (la tengo copiada en VHS) Agradezco a Alejandro Carrasco por subirla y hacerme revivir estos recuerdos

  From Pataclimb, the most important source of information of Patagonian Mountains.<br><br>&quot;The first confirmed solo ascent of the mountain was done by Swiss Marco Pedrini the 26/11/1985. Marco, who was 24 years old at the time, did the approach with two Swiss friends, then up the first three pitches <s>some of the hardest of the route free climbing wise</s> jumared fixed ropes he found, then climbed without a rope until the last rock pitch, commonly known as the “Bridwell” pitch. He reached the summit in under thirteen hours from the col of Patience. In the following few weeks he re-climbed the route with cameraman and climber Fulvio Mariani to film a reconstruction of the solo ascent for the Swiss/Italian television, reaching the summit at least two more times. The resulting documentary, “Cumbre”, is likely one of the best mountain films ever made. Marco who was one of the leading alpinists in the 1980’s, was found dead at the base of the west face of the Dru a few months after his Torre ascent. Apparently he fell to his death when his rappel anchor pulled while descending after yet another bold solo ascent, this time of the “American Direct”.&quot;

  mamma mia che bellezza di documentario. io l alpinismo lo pratico dalla poltrona guardando video su video su youtube. ma questo e´ veramente un filmato bellissimo, nella sua semplicita´ e freschezza. un filmato che insegna ancora qualcosa.<br>mi chiedo se sia mai stato trasmesso in televisione poiche e´ dell 85, un epoca nella quale la TV serviva ancora ad educare e creare cose BELLE ed EDUCATIVE.<br>grazie Alejandro per aver caricato questo video.
